This position provides leadership in receiving, inventory management, food quality control, warehouse organization, surplus order fulfillment, and distribution activities while working closely with staff, volunteers, suppliers, and drivers.The role ensures products are received accurately, inventory is maintained, food quality standards are met, the warehouse remains clean and organized, and wholesale orders are prepared and distributed efficiently and accurately. The Wholesale Lead serves as a primary point of accountability for warehouse readiness, inventory accuracy,



food quality and volunteer support.Main ResponsibilitiesCoordinate daily warehouse activities related to receiving, storage, inventory, and distributionEnsure proper product storage and FIFO practicesSupport productive loading and departure of delivery vehiclesMaintain warehouse standards that support food/ general safety and operational efficiencyConduct inventory counts and stock verificationIdentify, document, and remove expired, damaged, or unsuitable productsCommunicate inventory shortages and replenishment needsSupport route readiness and delivery operationsProvide coverage for driver absences when requiredSupport route planning and operational adjustments to ensure uninterrupted serviceLead order picking and order preparation activitiesEnsure route documentation is complete and accurateLead and support volunteer groups and individual volunteersProvide direction and training related to warehouse tasks and food handling practicesFoster a positive and productive volunteer experienceKey Qualifications and SkillsExperience working in a warehouse, food distribution, or a related environmentExperience coordinating volunteers, staff,
