The Electrical Engineering Lead provides technical leadership for the Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls discipline at the Wheeler River Project. The role is responsible for coordinating engineering activities, providing technical direction, and ensuring designs and deliverables meet project requirements for safety, quality, cost, and schedule. Working closely with the Project Team, engineering contractors, and vendors, the Electrical Engineering Lead supports the successful delivery of the project from engineering through procurement, construction and commissioning. This is a rotational, site-based role based in Northern Saskatchewan.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead electrical engineering activities for the Wheeler River Project, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirementsProvide technical expertise and guidance across engineering strategy, design standards, and project executionCoordinate with the Project Team and engineering contractors to deliver engineering activities against scope, schedule, cost, quality, and value requirementsProvide technical assurance and oversight of engineering work completed by engineering firms, vendors, and service providersSupport equipment specifications, procurement activities, vendor engineering and design review processesDevelop and maintain effective relationships with key vendors, contractors, and technical stakeholdersParticipate in the HAZOPs, risk assessments, and other technical reviewsProvide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering and project personnelAct as Technical Authority when assignedREQUIREMENTSYou are an experienced Electrical Engineering professional with solid technical expertise and leadership capabilities. You are comfortable working across multidisciplinary teams, providing technical direction,



and delivering complex engineering activities in a project environment. In addition, you bring:Bachelor's degree in electrical engineeringEligibility for registration as a Professional Engineer in Saskatchewan7+ years of progressive engineering and/or leadership experienceStrong knowledge of multidisciplinary engineering practices, standards, and design processesExperience in uranium, mining, heavy industrial, or similar environments is considered an assetExperience across the equipment design lifecycle, including specifications, procurement, vendor engineering, and design reviewStrong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to build effective relationships with engineering firms, contractors, vendors, and internal teamsStrong problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering safe, high-quality engineering solutionsBENEFITSAll applicants must be eligible to work in Canada.
