Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project – Mining Hydrogeologist to join their growing mining services team in British Columbia. This leadership role offers the opportunity to work on complex mining projects across Canada and internationally, while providing technical expertise, project leadership, client management, and business development support.The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering hydrogeological solutions throughout the mining lifecycle, including feasibility studies, operations support, environmental assessments, water management, and mine closure planning.Key ResponsibilitiesLead hydrogeology programs for mining projects across all stages of the mining lifecycleManage large, multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate with geotechnical, hydrology, environmental, and geochemistry specialistsProvide technical oversight for groundwater investigations, dewatering programs, seepage management, water supply development, and hydrogeological characterization studiesReview and oversee groundwater flow, geological, water balance and water quality modelsManage project budgets, schedules, deliverables, and client expectationsDevelop and maintain strong client relationships within the mining industrySupport business development initiatives, proposal preparation,



and strategic growth opportunitiesProvide mentorship and technical guidance to junior and intermediate hydrogeologistsParticipate in site visits and field programs at remote mining locations within Canada and internationallyRequired QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Geological Engineering, or a related disciplineProfessional designation with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC) as P.Ge or P.EnMinimum 18 years of experience in hydrogeology, with significant exposure to the mining sectorStrong understanding of mining-related environmental regulations and permitting requirementDemonstrated experience leading large-scale hydrogeological studies and mining water management projectProven success managing clients, project teams, and technical deliverableEstablished qualified network within the mining industryExcellent verbal and written communication skillAbility and willingness to travel to remote sites and internationally as requireLegal authorization to work in Canada without restrictionPreferred ExperienceGroundwater flow modeling using MODFLOW and/or FEFLOWGeological modeling using LeapfrogWater balance and water quality modeling using GoldSimExperience supporting feasibility studies, operations, environmental assessments, due diligence reviews, and mine closure planningSpanish language proficiency is considered an asset
