Become a key player in Alberta's insurance sector with the AIC as a Paralegal & Board Coordinator in Calgary. This role combines legal support, governance coordination, and executive assistance to drive regulatory excellence.The AIC, Alberta's regulatory organization, is seeking an organized Paralegal & Board Coordinator to report to the General Counsel. In this office-based role, you will coordinate Board activities and manage key governance processes, ensuring compliance and the smooth operation of legal functions. Your role will involve direct executive support, documentation management,
and interaction with high-level stakeholders for effective governance.Key Responsibilities:Provide executive support to the CEO and Board ChairCoordinate Board and Committee meeting activitiesMaintain comprehensive governance records and documentationDraft, review, and manage legal correspondence and reportsAssist with policy development and continuous improvement projectsRequirements:Legal Assistant or Paralegal diploma requiredMinimum 5 years of relevant experienceExperience supporting Boards for 3+ yearsProficient in Microsoft Office and document management toolsStrong communication and relationship-building skillsBring your expertise in governance and legal support to the AIC and contribute to Alberta's regulatory framework.
