We are looking for a professional fine dining manager with previous 4+ star resort experience to be responsible for managing all front of house Kettle Valley Steakhouse operations while delivering a world class guest experience. The successful candidate will be able to train, direct service staff, control beverage inventory and execute daily service at a high level. The successful candidate will be highly proficient in wine service, craft cocktail preparation and food savvy. This position reports directly to the Director of Hospitality.ResponsibilitiesManage all outlet operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standardsPreserve excellent levels of internal and external customer serviceAssist in the design and implementation of wine and drinks menus,



goods purchasing and controlsIdentify customer's needs and respond proactively to all of their concernsDemonstrate leadership abilities through attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talented personnelPossess a robust working knowledge of BC liquor laws, licensing requirements, and compliance regulationsEstablish and maintain policies and procedures for internal systems and processesComply with all Food Safe and Serving it Right regulationsReport to management regarding sales results and productivityRequirements5+ years of fine dining management experienceExcellent record in high volume high end food establishments, banqueting experience a plus but not necessaryWorking knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, Toast, Optimum Control)Excellent communication and leadership skillsAccredited wine certification from ISG, WSET or CMSDegree/Diploma in Food Service management or related fieldWorking Conditions:Able to work long hoursBe on feet for extended periods of timeAble to Lift 20lbs and bend and push repeatedlyMay be asked to work overtime in busy periodsHelp in other areas as neededOther Skills:Problem solving SkillsPassion for Customer ServiceA drive to learn more about Fine dining and Wine and Food
