$65k Regulatory Assistant - Confectionary - LaSalle (100% Onsite)

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Regulatory Assistant to join a well-established company in the food industry in LaSalle. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in quality assurance or regulatory affairs who is looking for a supportive work setting and long-term stability.

Role Requirements

- 1+ year of experience in regulatory compliance within the food industry (strongly preferred - although we could still be open to profiles interested in the industry).
- Fully bilingual in English and French, written and spoken.
- Knowledge of Canadian food labelling regulations is an asset.




- Comfortable with MS Office and digital documentation systems.
- Basic math skills for nutritional panel calculations and conversions.

What You’ll Do

- Review supplier documentation, product specifications and certificates of analysis.
- Prepare product data sheets and maintain regulatory documentation.
- Help ensure compliance with Canadian food safety and labelling requirements.
- Translate packaging and regulatory content between English and French.
- Respond to customer inquiries related to product quality and safety.
- Maintain records related to customer complaints and resolutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers and customers on regulatory matters.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality and compliance.
