They play a crucial role in helping businesses make informed financial decisions and maintain financial stability.Key ResponsibilitesCompile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts, reconciliations, and documenting business transactions in accordance with GAAP.Perform an analytical review of accounts monthly and at year-end.Reconcile Income Statement and Balance sheets accounts.Perform a wide variety of cost accounting functions including job costing, monthly sales flash and cost of sales analysis, profitability, and variance analysis (Cost/Price/Margin/Burden rates), WIP and Inventory valuation.Develop and maintain a profitability analysis by product, customer, revenue type, operational division, etc.
