and delivering exceptional response times.In this role you will:Property & casualty underwritingUnderwriting basic to moderately complex books of commercial property and casualty products, coverage, pricing, production and delivery, risk management and managing local brokerage plansQuoting and underwriting new business as presented by a broker's officeUnderwriting and negotiating renewalsAchieving assigned monthly sales goalsEnsuring customer service standards are metApplying underwriting guidelinesHere's what you bring:Minimum of 3 years' experience as a property/casualty underwriterExperience working for an MGA an assetUniversity degree or post-secondary diplomaCompletion of CIP/CAIB/CRM or working towards itCritical thinking and analysisExcellent time management and ability to multitaskExceptional customer service and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal skills & broker relationshipsAbility to take initiative and work effectively with minimal direction
