You will perform a variety of technical maintenance and service functions on equipment, systems and facilities in our distribution center. In this role, you will also spearhead equipment moves and new equipment installations.Your ResponsibilitiesShow Passion, Innovation, and Teamwork through a focus on People and Integrity - AEO's core values!Render preventative maintenance on the conveyor systems equipmentComplete diagnosis and repairs on conveyor system equipmentComplete diagnosis and repairs on the lift equipment fleetComplete electrical diagnosis and repair (where applicable)Provide facility maintenance and repairPerform general construction as requiredMaintain good maintenance recordsMaintain a safe and clean work environmentDemonstrate good communication practices, including verbal,



written and computer skillsAbility to perform the Maintenance Helper function such as general facilities dutiesPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school education or equivalentVocational technical school certificate preferred2 years of previous maintenance experience preferredDistribution Centre conveyor minor and major repairs preferredMechanical trade experience preferredProgrammable Logic Controller experience a plusMP2 maintenance software a plusAbility to work and frequently move throughout platform areas up to 45 feet above ground levelStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to collaboratively work in a group and independentlyAbility to maintain an excellent attendance and work recordMust be 18 or olderPhysical RequirementsLift, carry, push, pull, reach, grasp, bend and stack cartons for up to 10 hours at a timeStand for long periods of time and walk continuouslyPull merchandise from multiple levels of shelving or move merchandise as neededClimb stairs and perform work at platform heights up to 60 feetLift and carry up to 50lbs.
