and freight with due care and attentionEnsure all safety and security protocols are adhered toPerform general housekeeping duties as requiredPerform tasks associated with Dangerous Goods Handling/AcceptanceMeet time sensitive deadlines for freight build-up/breakdown as part of a team dynamicLearn and apply specific training modules required for position (WHMIS, SMS, Dangerous Goods, Hazard Prevention, etc....)Must be able to work outside in all weather conditionsWorking in and around aircraft dailyPerform other duties as required.Minimum QualificationsHigh School Graduate or equivalent experienceValid Class 5 Drivers Licence or equivalentAbility to obtain a RAIC pass (Transport Canada Security Clearance)Ability to lift to 60lbs repeatedlyAbility to work within a "team first" environment, and complete common goals within time sensitive deadlinesExcellent punctuality, and attendance habitsAbility to learn quickly, and adapt to fast changing customer requirementsWillingness to take direction with a keen interest in further development within the Calgary operationStrong written and verbal communication skillsFlexible to work shift work, weekends and stat holidaysBe willing to be subject to a background check; clearance is requiredBe willing to work outside.Significant To KnowCargojet is an equal opportunity employer.
