Ascent Systems Technologies develops advanced autonomous platforms for persistent operation in demanding and challenging environments.Our systems combine autonomous energy, automation and control, advanced sensing, edge computing and AI, multi-modal communications, and autonomous aerial and ground vehicle operations.We are seeking a highly capable new graduate or early-career engineer with a solid multidisciplinary background to join our growing technical team.This role is for someone who enjoys working across traditional engineering boundaries and turning complex technologies into autonomous systems built to operate at the edge of the world.Your role:You will contribute to the development, integration, testing, and evolution of Ascent's autonomous platforms.Responsibilities include:Integration of sensors, communications, computing, control, and autonomous subsystemsDevelopment and implementation of automation and control functionsSensor integration, data processing, and multi-sensor fusionIntegration of UAVs, UGVs, and other autonomous systemsEmbedded and edge-computing applicationsSystem-level testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimizationField testing and validationTechnical analysis and support of customer demonstrations and programsYou will work directly with company leadership and experienced engineers on defence, security, Arctic, and autonomous infrastructure applications.We are looking for someone with:Bachelor's or Master's degree,
