Its steel distributors operations act as master distributors selling steel in large volumes to other steel service centers and large equipment manufacturers mainly on an "as is" basis.Duties & ResponsibilitiesEnsure secure procedures are followed while performing job responsibilitiesPick and package material according to customer specificationsLoad and unload trucksEnsure quality customer serviceConduct thorough and effective inspections of vehicle and material on boardComply with workplace policies and procedures (operational and health and safety)Perform daily preventative maintenance of trucks and trailersPerform duties in keeping with the Ministry of Transportation requirementsStrap and secure materials to ensure materials are safely transportedOperate the vehicle safely and in accordance with local jurisdictionMaintain records/logs as prescribed by the Ministry of Transportation and Company policyOperate company issued electronic and/or communication equipment professionally and respectfullySkills & QualificationsEducation and Skills Required:Clean Class 1 with Air2-3 experience operating a flat-deck truck.
