The role may include routine health and clinic navigational support, basic client care, Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) support, preparing workspaces, preparing and maintaining an inventory of equipment and supplies, providing post-immunization observation support and other support functions. The role includes travel on the Public Health Mobile Unit. The Public Health Mobile Unit (PHMU) is a collaborative team of healthcare professionals who travel across the province to support a wide range of Public Health initiatives, like vaccination programs,



testing for communicable diseases, responding to public health emergencies, and health system navigation. PHMU does this by delivering community-based clinics, working closely with partners and reaching people who face structural, systemic or geographical barriers to accessing healthcare.
