Your Opportunity:Description:The Medical Radiation Technologist I (MRT) performs all routine radiographic/fluoroscopic, computed tomography and interventional procedures. Demonstrated awareness and competency in adaptive radiographic techniques. Current, demonstrated competency in the scanning of basic CT exams. Must possess a high degree of confidentiality. Demonstrated ability to be able to work within existing, clearly defined policies and procedures. Proven ability to work under pressure within a team in emergency situations. Experienced and committed to providing high-quality student teaching and preceptorship. Involved in x-ray emitting procedures requiring the donning of leaded apparel weighing up to 9.5kg for up to 7.75 hours while assisting within the perimeter of a radiation field.Preferred Qualifications:Two (2) years' experience in a hospital setting preferred. experience with PEI. CLXT might be considered.
