You will manage your own caseload across the full spectrum of family law matters (primarily in the Supreme Court of British Columbia) as well as have opportunities to second chair trials.What We Are Looking For2+ years of experience in family law litigation in BC (estate litigation or civil litigation experience is an asset but not a requirement)Active member in good standing with the Law Society of British ColumbiaDemonstrated independent advocacy experienceStrong drafting skills and attention to detail across pleadings and correspondenceExcellent communication skills with clients, opposing counsel, and the courtCollaborative team player with the ability to work independentlyCompensationThere is an prospect to work either as a salaried lawyer or on a fee-split. Anticipated salary range for a lawyer with 2+ years of experience starts at $120,000 and 5+ years experience in Family Law at $150,000 to $180,000.
