End Date April 2027)Reason to Post: Direct ReplacementWage Rate: $41.15 - $58.98Reporting to the Manager, Woman and Child Care, the Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN is responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care for Paediatric and ICN patients based on established evidence based care standards. The RN serves in the Resource Nurse role when oriented and as directed by the Manager. The RN utilizes knowledge of patient's age and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care. The RN contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.Skills / Abilities / QualificationsRequiredOntario College of Nurses registration or eligibilityBCLS CertificationNRP CertificationCompetency in Paediatrics and Level II NurseryAble to work independently in level IIB NICUCompletion of Breast Feeding Certificate (to be completed within 1 year)Experienced in providing breast feeding support to moms of pre-term and term infantsFirst Segment of a normal Mother/Baby Perinatal course (to be completed within 2 years)Central line care – including ability to access ports, PICC care, tubing,
