Join a team where your growth, development, and impact matter from day one.What You'll DoAs a Health & Safety Advisor, you'll work closely with operations, project teams, and field employees to promote a strong safety culture across our business.Key responsibilities include:Supporting the implementation of health and safety programs, policies,



and proceduresConducting site inspections and workplace auditsAssisting with hazard assessments and risk mitigation plansParticipating in incident investigations and corrective action trackingSupporting employee safety training and orientation programsMonitoring compliance with provincial and federal health and safety legislationMaintaining safety documentation, records, and reportingCollaborating with field leaders to identify opportunities for continuous improvementPromoting employee engagement in safety initiatives and campaignsWhat We're Looking ForWe're interested in recent graduates who are ready to learn, contribute, and grow.EducationDiploma or Degree in: Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Construction Management and or a related discipline.QualificationsRecent graduate (0-2 years of experience)Strong interest in workplace health and safetyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organization and attention to detailAbility to build relationships with employees at all levelsComfortable working in both office and field environmentsValid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as requiredWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office applicationsPreferred CertificationsCRSP designation in progress or interest in pursuingJoint Health & Safety Committee CertificationFirst Aid/CPR CertificationWorking at Heights training (considered an asset)The expected salary range for this role is between $55,000 - $70,000 per year. The starting salary will be determined based on several factors such as the successful candidate's qualifications, including but not limited to education, experience and mobility. Base pay is one component of Black & McDonald's total rewards package.
