This role is best suited to candidates who are comfortable with out-of-town work and travel to project sites across Western Canada, as required. collaborative team with a real commitment to professional growthThe Work You'll Be DoingOperating out of the Edmonton area, you'll be involved in a diverse range of commercial and institutional projects — including mixed-use developments, supportive housing, civic buildings, and other complex general contracting scopes. This position requires openness to out-of-town work, with travel to project sites across Western Canada as needed. Our projects vary in scale and sector, and you'll have the opportunity to work on projects that make a tangible difference to the communities we serve across Western Canada.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all on-site activities and maintain consistent progress toward project milestones and quality targetsCollaborate with Project Management and Estimating teams to resolve design, engineering, and construction challenges proactivelyCoordinate, supervise, and inspect work of ACL staff and all subcontractorsPrepare daily site reports, safety documentation, and submit records to head officeOversee site cleanliness, organization, security, and after-hours access coordinationMonitor and approve in office time tracking for ACL staffIdentify and report equipment needs; ensure only trained personnel operate machineryMentor, train,



and develop site staffCoordinate manpower and equipment logistics to support company-wide objectivesSchedule and lead regular site meetings with subcontractors and office staffOrder and track materials; maintain awareness of contract scope and lead timesReview workmanship quality, enforce contract compliance, and lead deficiency resolutionRequired Skills & Experience10+ years of hands-on construction experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or site leadership roleProficient in reading blueprints and technical drawingsStrong understanding of Alberta Building Code and construction best practicesBroad scope experience: framing, concrete forming and finishing, rebar, siding systems, thermal and moisture protection, millwork, interior and exterior finishingAbility to manage temporary utilities and site setupEffective trade coordination, scheduling, and conflict resolution skillsStrong communication skills with owners, architects, consultants, and tradesProven safety leadership — COR familiarity is an assetValid driver's license with clean driver's abstractMust be comfortable and willing to travel for out-of-town work, with accommodations coordinated as required for project sites across Western CanadaPreferred AttributesPassion for mentoring and developing othersStrong organizational and time management skillsSolution-focused mindset — you see problems before they happen and respond proactivelyLeadership presence that earns respect and builds team cohesionReady to Lead Your Best Projects Yet?
