Working under general supervision, this role requires full mastery of CNC, EDM, and manual machining processes, as well as the ability to mentor peers, troubleshoot issues, and drive quality standards across the shop floor.As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on multiple machines, the Machinist III plays a key role in supporting complex operations, solving production challenges, and maintaining a safe, efficient, and collaborative work environment. OntarioThis is an Onsite position and an active opening.Responsibilities:Operate all manual, CNC, or EDM machines independently to complete complex machining operations as outlined in process documentationChange, set, and adjust precision tools to meet operational requirementsLoad, create, and delete programs from CNC systems as requiredFine-tune machine feeds and speeds to ensure precision and efficiencyGrind own cutting tools and drills (excluding special-purpose tools)Maintain tight tolerances and ensure dimensional accuracy during machiningUse gauges and fixtures to inspect parts and verify conformance to specificationsPerform routine maintenance and make minor repairs on assigned equipmentIdentify and resolve machining or dimensional issues independentlyMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentShare technical expertise and mentor less experienced machinistsAct as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on several types of machinesFollow all applicable health and safety proceduresPerform other related duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:Minimum 7 years of relevant machining experienceProficiency in reading, writing, and speaking EnglishAbility to perform mathematical operations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimalsThorough knowledge of shop geometry and trigonometryAbility to read and interpret blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions,
