and 5S projectsAssists the Safety Committee and Master Trainer POW WOW Chair with meetings and followup as neededConducts post-accident investigations and communicates results as neededDocuments and communicates property damage reportsProvides weekly recaps on building safety and hazmat compliance statusManages action log of safety and hazmat improvementsTracks injuries, PIT incidents, and Near MissesReports food safety problems to site leadership with authority to initiate action as neededMaintains "Train the Trainer" status for DOT, IATA, IMDG, and Lithium Battery as neededMaintains "Train the Trainer" status for PIT Part A, PIT Part B, and BSTConducts internal Corporate Compliance Audits in partnership with field and Corporate EHS staffOther duties as assignedRequirements:High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency2 to 4 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience with warehouse PIT, trailers and automated equipmentPC literate to include proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookExceptional verbal and written communication skillsAbility to apply common sense understanding to interpret and carry out instructionsAbility to organize safety auditsAbility to organize and conduct training classes for audiences at all levels of the organizationAbility to develop and proof training materialsProven leadership, presentation and facilitation skillsAbility to write reports and correspondenceFirst Aid CPREnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
