As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide exemplary client care and services while leading other members of the healthcare team to do the same.Apply dressings and treatmentsTake and record vital signsAdminister medications and injectionsAssess and monitor patient's symptomsAssist with supervision and evaluation of job performance and behavior of other healthcare staff.Promote client-directed care,



self‐care and independence through teaching and encouragement.Maintain the standard of accurate and complete documentation and reporting.Requirements2-3 years of experience as a Licensed Practical NurseCurrent Registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador (CLPNNL) or eligible for the LPN registration with CLPNNLPhysical Assessment, Palliative/ Hospice Care experience preferred.Previous experience working in a senior's independent living setting and/or long‐term care preferred.Alzheimer's and/ or other Dementia Care experience are considered an asset.Current First Aid and CPR certification.
