We are currently looking for a dedicated Heavy Duty Mechanic who will be responsible for the service tasks on product line ranging from construction tools, small engine equipment such as compaction equipment, pumps to compact construction equipment (e.G. Mini excavators and skid steers,) and Aerial Work Platform equipment, based out of our TCRS Fort McMurray Branch.This field position will work a 7x7 continuous shift rotation. If you are a safety conscious team player, self-motivated, autonomous, detail-oriented and possess your Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician certification, then you are exactly who we are looking for!Job Description:Troubleshoot and repair Caterpillar rental equipment, which includes small engine equipment, construction tools, compact construction equipment, and aerial work platform equipmentPerform a wide variety of equipment repair diagnosticsUtilize Caterpillar SIS and ET as requiredComplete technical documentation (service reports, warranty, crossover notes)Interact with customers, sales support, and the rest of the Finning teamWork with the Service Supervisor and Leadhand on various tasks as requiredQualifications:Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) CertificationValid class 5 driver's license with a successful recent drivers abstractSafety conscious team player with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with a high attention to detailCompletion of Finning S-Levels, Failure Analysis,
