Through a visible and approachable presence, you will build solid relationships and champion Fairmont's culture of care and hospitality.This is a full-time, permanent position starting as soon as possible.Pay Range$72,000 - $85,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualificationsJob Duties IncludeBuild strong relationships with colleagues and leaders through a visible presence across the hotelServe as a trusted partner on employee relations, workplace concerns, and team successCoach leaders to create engaging, inclusive,
and high-performing teamsLead investigations, conflict resolution, attendance, and performance management processesDrive colleague engagement, recognition, and culture-building initiativesLead Employee Engagement Survey action planning and continuous improvement effortsUse colleague insights and workforce trends to enhance retention and engagementEnsure compliance with Fairmont standards and BC employment legislationHelp create an exceptional workplace experience that supports outstanding guest experiencesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related fieldHuman Resources or People & Culture experience, ideally within hospitality or a service-focused environmentProven success supporting employee relations and coaching leadersStrong understanding of BC employment legislation and HR best practicesExcellent communication skills with the ability to build trust at all levelsSound judgment and discretion when handling confidential mattersOrganized, solutions-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced operationPassionate about engagement, culture, and creating exceptional colleague experiencesAdditional InformationVisa RequirementsTo progress with your application, you must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
