The role of an Instrumentation Technician requires technical skills to ensure all systems and equipment are effectively maintained and safely operated in accordance with Ace Instruments standards of performance, policies and procedures.Description of Duties and Responsibilities:Installation, troubleshooting and maintaining control valves, pumps, SCADA systems, gas detection, flow metersWorking knowledge of the processes within a gas plant, well site, pump jacksAbility to interpret and redline electrical drawings,



schematics and P&ID drawingsPerform emergency repairs to meet customer needsOversee the safe and efficient completion of jobsEnsure facilities and personnel comply with Ace Instruments safety, health, workplace and risk standardsOther tasks as requiredThe successful candidate will have the following qualifications:Requirements:Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skillsCompetent using equipment applicable to the maintenance of control systemsExperienced with the interpretation of technical reference documentsStrong interpersonal and organizational skillsExcellent communication skills (both written and verbal)Proven ability to work effectively alone and in a team environmentHave a flexible work scheduleValid class 5 driver's licenseHold safety tickets as required by industryFully competent and current with all Health, Safety and Environment standards and training.Education/Experience:Journeyman and preferably red seal certified; Instrumentation Technician5 Years of related experience in the oil & gas industryPrevious experience working with high pressure natural gas would be considered an assetAce Instruments offers competitive wages and comprehensive benefits.
