Anmar Mechanical and Electrical Contractors Ltd. is currently seeking an Accounting & Payroll Clerk to join our team!Required Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience in an accounting and payroll role, preferably in a medium-sized organizationExperience processing payroll and understanding payroll legislation and complianceProficiency with accounting and payroll software (e.G., QuickBooks, Pivot, or similar ERP systems)Experience processing US payroll, including multi-state payroll and compliance, considered a strong asset.Solid attention to detail and high level of accuracyExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to handle confidential information with discretionStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamJob DutiesProcess bi-weekly/weekly payroll,



ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable legislationMaintain employee payroll records, deductions, benefits, and remittancesPrepare and submit payroll-related reports, including ROEs, T4s, and union remittancesEnter and reconcile accounting data including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entriesAssist with month-end and year-end accounting processesReconcile bank and credit card statementsMaintain accurate financial and employee recordsRespond to payroll and accounting inquiries from employees and managementSupport other administrative and accounting duties as requiredAnmar is an equal opportunity employer.
