This position will report to the Superintendant.The main responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:Carry out the daily operation (regulatory monitoring and reporting process adjustments, chemical transferring and maintenance) of the facilitiesProvide operational support & troubleshooting for plant operationsMaintain required inventory and inventory control of critical spare parts, chemicals, & consumablesCreate maintenance requestsMonitor Lift Stations as requiredComplete and compile data of daily inspections, monitoring, and sampling as requiredPerform maintenance tasks as requested by the supervisorPerform laboratory analysis and reportingPreparation weekly, monthly, annual reports as requiredProvide training and mentorship to plant operational staffParticipate in required meetings (in-person & remotely)Participate, enforce, and comply with all aspects of the company's health and safety programHours of WorkThe Operator position will be a 8/6 day rotation (8 days off, 6 days off), 8 to 10 hrs/d.QualificationsCurrent WTP Level IIImin (proof of certification is required); Ability to lift25 kg (55lb); Intermediate toadvanced mechanical knowledge; Excellent problem solving skills; Strong independent worker and team playerGood communication skills, both written and verbalProven ability to supervise and communicate with staff membersPositive attitude and able to promote a positive image of AQUATECH.
