The Project Coordinator must work closely with engineering, drafting, purchasing and construction members of the project team including external suppliers of products and services where applicable. This position is also involved with coordinating material takeoffs, material pricing, erection subcontracts, drawing reviews, scheduling, and participating in the interface with customer.StructureThe Project Coordinator reports directly to the Director,



Projects with day-to-day direction provided by Project Managers on their specific projects.Position OverviewWorks with the design team to ensure the engineering design meets the requirements of the project specificationsCoordinates resolution of design issues that arise during execution of the projectCoordinates Subcontractors and Vendors under the direction of the Project ManagerAssists in the development of short and long-term strategies and schedules for current projectsTracks, monitors and communicates progress and issues to the Project ManagerTracks, monitors and reports on Safety stats to the Project ManagerOperates within ISO Quality system and company safety policy in all phases of assignmentsSafety, Cost, Schedule and Quality related to work executedOther duties as assignedBehavioral SkillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to complete a high volume of work within deadlinesMulti-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.Excellent organizational and time management skillsExcellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skillsGood problem-solving skillsExperience writing and delivering communicationsAbility to work with little supervision and the ability to take initiativeStrong attention to detailQualificationsA Diploma or technical certificate.
