While there is an opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects the primary focus of this position is to assist our design team on structural design for the residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional projects.What a day at EXP has in store for youAssist with design of steel, concrete and masonry structuresAnalyze the capacity of existing structures and design reinforcement, when requiredWork with other senior and/or junior engineers collaborativelyParticipate in design meetings with owner, architect, and other consultantsParticipate in construction site meetingsConduct site visits during construction to review work for general compliance to structural drawings and contract documentsWhat Your Experience Looks LikeDegree in Structural Engineering from a recognized universityPreferably 1 - 3 years' experience in structural engineering with a focus on structural analysis and design in buildingsExperience with NBCC, CSA standardsField experience on construction sites, conducting general reviews for compliance with drawings and specifications, and writing site reportsExperience with Etabs, SAFE, SAP and other similar Structural design softwareTeam player with the proven ability to work independently with minimum directionHard worker,
