The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing educational programs that celebrate diversity, promote equity, and embrace the rich cultural heritage of our community. This position requires a deep commitment to indigenization, a competency-based curriculum, and an innovative approach to land-based education.Responsibilities:Course Development: Collaborate with educators, Elders, and community members to design and implement a competency-based curriculum rooted in Indigenous knowledge and values.Cultural Inclusion: Foster a learning workplace that respects and incorporates diverse Indigenous perspectives, ensuring the curriculum reflects the local Indigenous culture.Equity and Inclusion: Implement strategies to promote equity and inclusion within the school community,
