you will provide a comprehensive range of core nursing functions and services in remote First Nations communities in program areas of community and public heath, primary care, and urgent and emergent care. This includes health promotion and disease and injury prevention for individuals, families, groups, communities, and populations.About YouTo be successful in this role you will have/be; EducationBachelor's degree in nursing from a recognized university or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).Occupational Certification And RequirementsObtain and maintain Basic Life Support Certification Level C; Completion of arecognized specialty nursing program is an assetRequires a valid Class 5 BC Driver's LicenseExperienceMinimum one (1) year of recent point-of-care nursing experience in a related or relevant fieldPublic Health Nursing experience requiredPlease refer to Job Specification section of the Job Description for more details.Working at FNHAA Casual employee will not be entitled to the Employer's benefit plan, vacation or designated holidays and will instead be paid a premium of 13% for all straight time hours worked.Leading with culture, all FNHA employees complete San'yas Indigenous Cultural Safety Training.
