The successful candidate must be available to work afternoons, evenings and weekends, including holidays.What you will deliverPerform troubleshooting and repairs required for the maintenance and upkeep of equipment in order to maintain corporate image and provide tenants and customers with a safe and healthy environmentSecure CF property against loss due to theft, fire, liability claims and prosecutions resulting from operations by ensuring all health, safety and security procedures are adhered to and areas of concern are reported to the appropriate parties in a timely manner in order to limit exposure to liability and lossMonitor central plant and related systems to ensure a comfortable environment for tenants and patronsTest fire equipment on a monthly basis by checking valves and bells for proper operations ensuring tenant and customer safetyPerform daily inspections of all common and maintenance areas and responsible for relamping in all areas of the property to ensure proper lighting levelsRespond to tenants concerns regarding HVAC issues by solving problems or making recommendations as required in order to reduce repair costs for CF and ensure a high level of customer service to tenants and customers embracing Client First StrategyOther duties as assignedWhat your strengths areStrong communicator, verbal and writtenGood problem solver with strong mechanical, analytical,



and research skillsSelf-starter with practical judgment and a decisive mannerPositive and willing to work overtime and respond to emergenciesWhat you need to succeedHigh school diploma and enrolled in SMA or SMT (BOMA)Minimum two (2) years' experience in physical plant operations, HVAC and other related equipment preferably in a commercial hi-rise or mixed use workplace an assetThorough knowledge of general maintenance procedures (i.E. plumbing, tiling, drywalling, painting, etc.), complete familiarity with site and current technologyGeneral knowledge of HVAC electrical/mechanical systemsKnowledge of computer and related programs: Microsoft Office, Gmail, Energy management systems software or comparable systems etc.Starting base pay for this job level may range from $20.16- $26.88.
