From railway to aerospace, naval, or energy, we always provide expertise to our clients with the same passion and high-quality standards.ContextIn order to strengthen the rapid development of LGM both in Toronto and Montreal we are looking for a Senior Technical Writer.Your responsibilities:Under the supervision of the TECHPUB/ILS Group Manager, your mission will be to produce different types of manuals (maintenance, operation, installation...) and be the resource person for the Techpub team in Thunderbay.You will be based in our client facility in Thunderbay.Your main tasks include:Producing various types of technical publication (Maintenance manual, Operation Manuals,...)Participate in the validation process of technical writings content; Be responsible of the information exchange between the teams,



maintaining a common look and feel to all documentation produced; CoordinationParticipate in technical meetings with the members of the project; Mentoring junior technical writers; Building a relationship of trust and partnership with the client while promoting LGM's expertise; Contributing tothe improvement of practices and tools.Your profile:Degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, electronic or mechatronic, industrial engineering); Minimum 10 years experience in Technical PublicationKnowledge of S1000DFrame Maker, ArbortextExperience in Aerospace sector of railwayPrevious experience in project management.Personal qualities: active listening, communication, leadership, dynamism, organization, efficiency.Customer orientation: listening, understanding, clarifying, prescribing appropriate solutions and expertise.What we offer:A company where you can grow.
