Position Overview1.0 FTE Physical Therapist/PhysiotherapistSchool District 60 (Peace River North) is seeking applications for atemporary full‑time (1.0)Physical Therapist/Physiotherapist.ResponsibilitiesScreening and assessment of students with orthopedic, neurological, muscular, spinal, or joint dysfunction.Consultation for school staff and families.Training staff to carry out routines such as positioning, seating, feeding, or motor activities during the school day.Monitoring and ongoing evaluation of students in classroom settings.Assistance in diagnosis, treatment, equipment selection/adaptation, training, and research.Required Qualifications and ExperienceEligible for Canadian Physiotherapist Association membership and member of the College of Health & Care Professionals of British Columbia.Registration with the CPTBC is mandatory.Graduated from a recognized post‑secondary institution with thorough knowledge of PT techniques and procedures in pediatrics.Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.Ability to work with a variety of physically disabled students in different settings.Pediatric experience desirable.Neuro‑Developmental Therapy (NDT)
