Position SummaryWe are currently seeking an experienced and detail-orientedRevenue Coordinator to join our Finance team. This senior-level role is responsible for independently managing complex and high-volume billing portfolios while ensuring invoices, costing reports, and supporting documentation are accurate, complete, and aligned with client contracts and billing requirements.This is a full-time position based out of Fort McMurray, AB.This is a full time position based in Fort McMurray, Alberta.The successful candidate will work 8-hour days on an 5 days per week rotation.This position may be able to offer a hybrid work arrangement, with a combination of site/office-based and remote work, depending on operational requirements.If you are motivated, eager to learn, and thrive in a collaborative setting, we want to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will bring strong billing and financial analysis experience, sound judgment, and the ability to resolve complex discrepancies while supporting consistent processes and quality across the team.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and maintain client costing reports and other billing-related reportingIndependently manage complex or high-volume billing portfoliosInterpret and apply a range of client contract terms, including non-routine billing scenariosPrepare, review, and validate billing outputs for accuracy and completeness prior to issuanceInvestigate and resolve complex billing discrepancies with internal teams and clientsComplete daily and weekly timesheet reviews to ensure payroll and invoicing compliance with contract and union requirementsResolve employee pay issues and errors, escalating concerns as requiredSupport month-end close activities, including reconciliations and variance analysisProvide informal guidance and support to less experienced team membersIdentify opportunities to improve billing processes and support implementation effortsEnsure billing activities are completed in accordance with internal controls, billing standards,



and client requirementsComplete other duties as assignedRequirementsBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceCPA progress is considered an assetFive or more years of progressive billing, finance, accounting, or revenue coordination experienceExperience managing complex, project-based, or high-volume billing portfoliosExperience working with ERP, financial, or billing systemsAdvanced Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables, reporting, reconciliations, and data analysisCore CompetenciesStrong knowledge of billing processes, contract interpretation, client requirements, and internal controlsAbility to independently manage competing priorities and complex workloadsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, including determining when escalation is requiredHigh attention to detail and accuracyClear communication skills with clients, employees, and internal stakeholdersAbility to support and guide less experienced team membersDemonstrated focus on process improvement and efficiencyBenefitsThe strength of Acuren lies in its outstanding people.
