Success in this role calls for someone proactive who takes ownership of core accounting functions.Key responsibilities and oversight:Build and document accounting processes, controls, and reconciliations from the ground up for a new business lineHelp design scalable controls and monitoring procedures as transaction volume growsPrepare and review reconciliations,



flagging risks and recommending fixesSupport financial analysis, audits, and other strategic projects as they arisePartner with cross-functional teams to keep financial processes and reporting alignedHandle month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activitiesPrepare complex entries with proper documentation for complianceThe successful candidate will possess the following:CPA designation with experience supporting complex accounting functions.Strong IFRS knowledge, ERP familiarity.Qualified accountant from a major public accounting firmExcellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly.Self-starter attitude with strong organizational and prioritization skills.Comfortable working in a hybrid environmentAdaptable and open to changeThis opportunity is an existing vacancy with an employer who has engaged our recruiting services.
