The Depot Technician must display a focus on safety and efficiency in a team environment while performing moderately labor intensive and repetitious tasks. **The schedule for this position is Thursday - Monday from 8:15 am - 4:45 pm.



(Sunday 8:15 am-3:45pm – 7 hours)****Key Responsibilities:**Ensure waste is processed in a timely and safe mannerAssist with the loading and unloading of trucks and containersEnsure incoming waste conforms with acceptance protocolOperation of processing machinery and equipment as requiredEnsure secure operation and procedures are followed at all timesComplete paperwork properly & ensure it is submittedComplete job hazard risk assessmentsPromote a safety culture with all employeesEnsure superior customer service is providedGeneral shop clean up and maintenanceOther miscellaneous tasks as required**Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:**Ability to perform moderately labour intensive and repetitious tasksPhysically fit with the aability to lift +50lbs and stand on cement for extended periods of timeExcellent communication skillsPlanning and organizational skillsAbility to analyze and solve problemsAble to work independently and in a team environment#GFLTalent*We thank you for your interest.
