We are seeking a hands-on Junior QA/QC Manager to lead and continuously improve food safety and quality systems at our brand-current manufacturing facility in Barrie, ON. This role is ideal for a QA professional ready to take ownership of site-level quality programs and step into (or further develop) a leadership position.Own and lead HACCP-based food safety and quality programs across the siteEnsure compliance with GMPs, CFIA/SFCR, and audit standards (e.G., SQF/BRCGS)Oversee and support daily QA/QC activities on the production floor to ensure consistent executionLead investigations into non-conformances, deviations, and customer complaints; drive effective CAPAManage audit readiness and support internal and external auditsMaintain and enhance quality systems, documentation,



and SOPsPartner cross-functionally (Production, Sanitation, etc.) to resolve issues and drive continuous improvementProvide training, coaching, and technical guidance as the QA/QC function expandsOther duties as assigned3–4+ years of QA/QC experience in food manufacturing environmentStrong working knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and food safety standardsExperience supporting audits (SQF/BRCGS is an asset)Solid root cause analysis and problem-solving skillsSome leadership or supervisory experience (formal or informal) preferred
