From medical services, to high angle rescues, confined space /rescue planning and personnel, to plant turn arounds, gas detection, fire supersession units, and so much more.AAA Field Service LTD is your "one-stop" for safety personnel, safety training and safety services.We are currently seeking an Outside Fire Technician to join our team.Primary ResponsibilitiesInspect and service Life Safety equipment including: fire extinguishers, gas detection monitors, breathing air equipment and fall arrest equipmentAdditional responsibilities may include: fit testing, hydrostatic testing, air filling, medical oxygen filling and paintball refillingEffectively communicate with customers via face-to-face, phone, email, etc., to ensure that we are prepared for the job/project at handDocument all records for services, complete all work orders, invoicing work orders (when applicable), deliver goods to staging area and call the customer to inform them that the goods are ready for pick upComplete all work orders,



ensuring that all inventory is recorded accuratelyComplete all required inspection forms for various life safety equipmentProvide estimates for customers for life safety equipment as requiredMaintain equipment/tools in each working area, to include: daily inspection, cleanliness, scheduled maintenance/calibrations and any required repairsMaintain inventory levels in applicable work areas by maintaining open communication with the purchasing departmentEnsure that the customer is satisfied with the inspection performed and that all their needs have been met before leaving siteProactively increase awareness and knowledge of products and application through product knowledge meetings, peer mentorship, manufactures' offered training and self-motivated researchSecondaryAssist with overflow of work that becomes built up in other departmentsDeliver reports/invoices and completed service work to customersProvide back up to front counter when requiredAssist with shipping receiving, loading and unloading goodsParticipate in the on call schedule and Saturday rotationAssist wherever extra help may be needed within the storeJob Type: Full-timeCompany eventsDental careDisability insuranceExtended health careLife insuranceOn-site parkingRRSP matchAbility to commute/relocate:Fort St. John, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
