DescriptionEssentialFunctions:Accountablefor the health and safety of employees and ensure compliance with all established Health & Safety rules/regulations and the Occupational Health & Safety ActAccountable for manufacturing metrics for their shift.Conduct required audits as necessary – SOP, safety, 5S, Process etc.Conduct regular employee communication meetings on shift.Track training for all hourly employees on shiftInitiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformity relating to product,processand quality system.Identifyand record any problems relating to the product,processand quality system. Initiate,recommend,or provide solutions through designated channels. Verify the implementation of solutions. Control further processing,deliveryor installation of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.Ensure production flow of processes by reducing/eliminatingbottlenecks on ashift-by-shiftbasis.Employee Scheduling:Ensure shift is properly staffed by qualified employees.
