This is a great opportunity for someone who combines strong SolidWorks skills with an outgoing, customer-focused personality.This is not a heads-down drafting role. In addition to developing technical drawings and 3D models, you'll communicate directly with customers to understand their needs, discuss specifications, clarify technical details, and help turn real-world challenges into practical, manufacturable solutions.The ideal candidate is technically sharp, naturally curious, and an excellent communicator who enjoys working with people. You'll need the confidence to speak with customers, ask thoughtful questions, explain technical concepts clearly,



and build strong working relationships with both internal teams and external clients.Develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorksTranslate customer requirements into accurate, manufacturable designsCommunicate directly with customers regarding specifications, measurements, design details, and revisionsCreate and revise technical drawings, blueprints, and schematicsCollaborate with engineering, sales, and production teams on customer solutionsMaintain BOMs, engineering documentation, and organized CAD filesApply GD&T principles and perform tolerance analysisTroubleshoot design and production issuesSupport continuous improvement of products and design processes3+ years of CAD drafting/design experience requiredIndustrial or manufacturing experience requiredClient-facing/customer-facing experience strongly preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skills requiredExperience working with the imperial measurement system required
