permitting, tender development, contract administration, and construction compliance.Coordinate with project managers, engineers, regulatory agencies and other stakeholders to ensure environmental requirements are integrated into project design and implementation.Provide expert guidance on environmental regulations, policies, and best practices to ensure project compliance.Act as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies.Mentor and support junior staff, fostering a culture of professional development and collaboration.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers and other scientists.Support and lead project management, including task planning, scheduling, and budgeting.Does this sound like you?Undergraduate degree in an environmental discipline (e.G. biology, environmental science, geography, earth science, or soil/reclamation science); graduate degree is considered an asset.8+ years of experience in consulting (with a focus on municipal infrastructure projects based in Alberta).Preference will be given to candidates who hold a professional designation (P. Ag, P. Biol., P, Geol., RPF) and have experience with Alberta's regulatory framework.CPESC (Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control) certification and experience in erosion and sediment control is an asset.Demonstrated ability to integrate environmental requirements into engineering projects at the proposal, business development, pre-design, design,
