Type: Full Time - Single - Company DriverOpenings: 2Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Pre-trip inspections(Involve walking, bending, lifting and releasing the kingpin from the fifth wheel, approximately 50 pounds pulling force and winding dolly legs up or down, approximately 10 pounds force on the crank)Loading and off loading Bulk / Dump productsTarping (Opening and closing the trailer tarp on dump trailers, approximately15 pounds force twisting the tarp crank to open and up to 60 pounds pulling to close)Cleaning Trailers out (Sweeping the trailer after unloading – climbing,bending and walking.)Cleaning Trailers with Frozen product in sideRemoval of cross bows along the top of trailer (Requires hammer to removeall 10 cross bows)Climbing in and out of the tractor (approximately but not limiting to 2-4times daily)Driving (Driving can vary between 1 to 4 hours sitting and shifting thetransmission)Walking on uneven ground at different facilities while loading and off loadingDealing with Malfunctioning equipment (Trailer doors could get stuck,Trailer bows not easily coming out, issues with trapping system that may need extra force)Knowledge of axle weightsSafe operation of equipmentSub-Functions:All paperwork (logbook, customs, trip envelopes)Writing up equipment with defectsKeeping Truck clean insideUse of electronic Logging deviceInteracts With:DispatchCustomerSafety departmentOther driversMaintenance DeptEquipment / Tools Used:Tractor trailer with belt floor or end dumpVarious tools for loading, unloading and cleaning of unitEmployment Requirements:Must be physically fit to climb 12' in & out of dump trailers, approximately but notlimiting to 1-2 times dailyMust be able to lift 20 to 25 kg's of material in & out of trailers, approximately but not limiting to 2-4 times dailyMinimum of 3 years heavy haul experienceOr 3 years over the road experience Licenses / Certificates: AZ licenseQualifications / Skills: Good CVOR and valuable Drivers Abstract
