DHL Express currently has an opening for a Casual Warehouse position in our Edmonton, AB location.Shift: Must have availability from Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm. There are no set shifts for this role.Wage: $23.38/hour and will increase as per the CBA.ResponsibilitiesComplete assigned deliveries and pickups and/or other tasks assigned by supervisorVehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspectionsScan freight as per agreed proceduresOrganize and sort all freight to appropriate routesMove freight within the warehouse area as per requirementsAccurately sort and process, by deadlines, inbound materialAssist Tracing Department with thorough warehouse checks for missorts, on-hands,



etc.Participate in the organization and clean-up of the warehouse areaParticipate in maintaining a secure and co-operative work environmentPerform Front Counter DutiesPerform HIC dutiesPerform accurate reportingOther warehouse duties as assigned by the shift supervisorRequirementsAbility to lift and carry parcels, up to and including 70 lbs per piece, throughout shiftForklift certificateDemonstrated ability to work effectively and on-time within tight time constraintsDemonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environmentMeet security requirementsBroad general working knowledge of warehouse functionsDemonstrated knowledge and experience with the DHL operations systemHigh School DiplomaAll applicants are required to pass interviews, a criminal check and other background checks in order to qualify for the position.High School Diploma, forklift certificate, ability to lift up to 70 lbs, knowledge of warehouse functions, experience with DHL operations systems
