Driven by creativity and inspired by the future, we set out every day to reframe the possible.What you'll do:Work in collaboration with the Compositing Supervisor and Visual Effects Supervisor to evaluate the creative and technical approach to assigned shotsTake briefs and direction from Lead Compositors and VFX Supervisors to execute assigned shotsIntegrate 2D,



3D and live action elements to high-end visual effects film standardMeeting schedules and show deadlinesOngoing communication with Production and Leads regarding schedules and deadlinesTake responsibility for own workload, time management and notes/feedback actions required by SupervisorsBalance the creative and technical aspects of each shotWork with a good knowledge of color space principlesWhat we're looking for:An excellent working knowledge of and production experience with NukeA familiarity with stereo compositing and working with multiple render passesExcellent organization, communication and interpersonal skillsA pro-active and collaborative work ethicA robust eye for detail, composition, color and lightingThe ability to multitask, prioritize and problem solveAn understanding of color space principlesYou might also have:Knowledge of practical lighting for photographyA working knowledge of the overall VFX pipelineExperience in dealing and communicating with clientsProgramming and coding experience and knowledgeAccessibility StatementOur Montreal studio has universal access, with step-free entry, accessible toilets, and quiet spaces available.
