Private Teaching Position — Canmore, AlbertaWe are seeking an experienced, dedicated private homeschool teacher for two children currently at the elementary school level. This is a full-time, hybrid role: the children attend traditional school 2-3 days per week, and this position covers homeschool instruction on the remaining days, along with lesson preparation, curriculum planning, and general support to the children and family on school days. This is a unique opportunity for a passionate educator to deliver a rich, curriculum-based education while nurturing the children's talents in music, language, and physical activity. Flexibility to travel with the family is essential, as instruction will continue while away from home.WEEKLY SCHEDULEHome Instruction Days (2-3 days/week): Full-day, hands-on teaching following the approved curriculum, plus French language instruction and daily support/encouragement for piano, singing, and swim practiceSchool Days (2-3 days/week): Lesson planning and curriculum prep for home instruction days, coordination with the children's school as needed, and general support to the children and familyFull-time position year-round, with schedule adjustments during school breaks and family travelKEY RESPONSIBILITIESPlan and deliver lessons for two elementary-aged students on home instruction days, following an approved curriculumPrepare lesson plans and materials on school days to ensure continuity and progress on home instruction daysAssess and track academic progress,
