We deliver mechanical, structural, and general contracting services and supplies with a strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and supporting the communities where we work.The OpportunityWe are currently seeking an experienced Welder to provide support and maintenance to our operations in the Sudbury, Ontario area.In this role, you will perform welding, fabrication, and repair work on concrete production machinery, plant equipment, and structural components. You will work closely with other team members to help minimize downtime and ensure equipment remains safe, reliable, and ready for operation.This position is well suited to a dependable, safety-conscious individual with experience performing welding and fabrication work in an industrial, manufacturing, or maintenance environment.Your Day-to-DayPerform welding, cutting, fitting, fabrication, and repair work on plant equipment and componentsRepair and maintain conveyors, hoppers, chutes, guards, frames, moulds, pallets, and other production equipmentInspect damaged or worn components and determine an appropriate method of repairIdentify base metals and select appropriate welding processes, filler materials, and equipment settingsPerform SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, or other welding processes based on operational requirements and individual qualificationsUse cutting, grinding, gouging, and related equipment to prepare and finish materialsFabricate replacement parts, brackets, guards, supports, and other components as requiredPerform accurate measuring, fitting, layout, and material preparationRead and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, welding symbols,



work orders, and equipment manualsAssist with preventative maintenance and emergency equipment repairs to help minimize production downtimeIdentify equipment defects and communicate maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisorSafely operate welding machines, torches, grinders, saws, drills, and other shop or plant equipmentMaintain welding equipment, tools, and work areas in a clean and serviceable conditionWork in accordance with all internal, client and regulated health and safety policies, procedures and/or regulations, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Perform other related duties as assignedYou Are a Good Fit If You HaveRequired:Minimum of three (3) years of welding, fabrication, or industrial maintenance experienceWelder 456A Certificate of Qualification or Red Seal endorsementExperience repairing machinery or production equipment in an industrial, manufacturing, construction, or similar environmentConsidered an Asset:Experience repairing conveyors, hoppers, chutes, moulds, and other material-handling equipmentExperience with industrial preventative maintenanceSkills & Abilities:Strong welding, fabrication, fitting,

The pay range posted reflects base compensation under the applicable agreement. Placement within the range is based on experience, qualifications, and union provisions.
