Make recommendations to management regarding suitability of distribution partners to represent Empire LifeMonitor and provide regular reporting on market conduct activity,



alert management to negative trends or issues in market conduct and/or advisor activityEducate operations and sales teams on the importance of enhanced monitoring thereby minimizing exposure to reputational risk and financial loss through complaints and advisors that are non compliant and/or engage in unacceptable conductReport distribution partner's misconduct to regulators and address all demands from regulatorsDevelop market conduct processes and procedures as requiredCoordinate regular market conduct committee meetings to review activities and issues, as well as quality of the service providedCompletion of complex investigationsMonitor and advise management of regulatory initiatives related to advisor market conductOther projects and initiatives that may be assignedWhat we're looking for you to have5+ years' work experience in life insurance, marketing or customer service and/or complianceGood working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and database computer softwareKnowledge of regulatory, compliance and/or legal environmentStrong understanding of business operations and complianceFLMI is an assetBilingualism is an assetCompletion of a university degreeWell-developed investigative, analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently or as part of a teamAbility to develop and maintain effective working relationshipsAbility to prioritize and balance multiple tasks or projectsWell-developed communication, negotiation, persuasion and/or presentation skillsHigh degree of tact and diplomacy and the ability to handle confidential informationIf you are applying for a position which is open to applicants across Canada, unless otherwise indicated in the position, language proficiency in English is required for communicating with customers, advisors,
