We're currently looking for a Machine Operatortojoin our incredible team in Whitby, ON.Come see what makes SanMar Canada different, and discover what's possible when you're part of something authentic.JOB SUMMARYReporting directly to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Machine Operator operates all Material Handling Equipment used in receiving, order fulfillment (picking, processing, checking), and shipping.Required Qualifications & ExperienceAble to safely operate a forklift, narrow aisle order pickerWorking knowledge of internal PICK system and location maintenance, utilizing RF systemMust be MHE certified (order picker)Work well under pressure and meet deadlinesAble to work from Reach Truck platform at heights of 20 feet or moreMust be able to establish a routine to work efficientlyMust be able to count quickly and accurately,



with high attention to detailAbility to work well in a team environmentWorking Conditions40 hours per week; occasional overtime requiredMust wear CSA-approved safety footwear with protective steel toes and other personal protective equipment as requiredAble to perform continuous lifting up to 50lbsRepetitive bending, lifting, pulling, and stretchingAble to work from truck platform at heights of 20 feet or moreUse of ladderJob ResponsibilitiesPick high-bay orders to meet daily cutoff deadlinesPerform high and mid-bay location maintenance to meet minimum accuracy standardsPerform put-away for inbound operationShippingAccurately and efficiently putaway ordersEfficiently unloads inbound trailers and loads transfer trailers as directed by Warehouse SupervisorMaintain a neat and tidy work areaParticipate in inventory cycle count programIdentify and verify quantities, codes, and colours of incoming receivablesCheck for damaged cases/damaged product at point of receival; sign bill of lading appropriately and clearly,
