Canadian Tire is offering a 12 to 16 month co‐op placement for a Transportation Assets Analysis Student starting Fall 2026 in Brampton, ON.What You'll Do:Conduct data analysis on fleet operations, including maintenance costs, asset utilization, and total cost of ownershipGather and validate data from internal systems and external sources to support business initiativesAnalyze owned and rented fleet performance, including vendor service levels and utilization trendsDevelop reports, dashboards, and insights to support operational decision‐makingPresent findings and recommendations to leadership and key stakeholdersDocument processes and support the development of training and reference materialsIdentify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficienciesCollaborate with cross‐functional partners including Fleet Maintenance, Operations, Finance,



and IT teamsWhat You Bring:Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate insightsProficiency in Microsoft Excel (required); experience with Access or other data tools is an assetStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings clearlyAbility to manage multiple priorities and work under tight timelinesStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teamsSelf‐motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervisionAdaptable and comfortable working in a quick‐paced, evolving environmentExperience with Power BI, Python, or other data visualization tools is a strong assetQualifications:Currently enrolled in a post‐secondary program in Engineering, Business, Data Analytics, or a related fieldPreferred: Third‐year student or higherPrevious co‐op or internship experience considered an assetDemonstrated experience in data analysis, reporting, or process improvement workSalary:$23.00 – $30.00 CAD per hour (typical hiring range).
