Through hands‐on leadership and collaboration across the organization, you will promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.You would also:Lead, coach, and develop the Maintenance team to ensure safe, efficient, and effective execution of maintenance activitiesDrive preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtimeOversee maintenance planning, facility repairs, equipment upgrades, and capital improvement projectsManage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, contractors, and vendor relationshipsAnalyze equipment performance and implement corrective actions to improve operational effectivenessLead Environmental, Health & Safety programs to ensure compliance with OHSA, WSIB, environmental regulations, and corporate standardsConduct incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action planning to reduce workplace riskOversee safety audits, risk assessments, regulatory inspections, and compliance activitiesCo‐chair the Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) and support employee safety engagement initiativesManage ISO 14001 Environmental Management System requirements, audits, and environmental compliance activitiesMonitor maintenance and EHS performance metrics, identify trends, and present recommendations for improvementChampion Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement,



and operational excellence initiativesMaintain a visible presence on the plant floor, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and teamworkDevelop and maintain policies, procedures, and programs that strengthen maintenance effectiveness and workplace safetyEnsure compliance with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and the ASSA ABLOY Code of ConductPerform other duties as assignedThe Skills and Experience You Need:Minimum 7 years of leadership experience in Maintenance, EHS, or a combination of both within a manufacturing environmentExperience in a unionized manufacturing environment is strongly preferredPost‐secondary degree or diploma in Engineering, Maintenance Management, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related fieldStrong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance systems and reliability programsDemonstrated experience managing maintenance teams, capital projects, and maintenance budgetsExperience with ISO standards, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologiesExperience conducting audits and ensuring regulatory complianceSpecialized knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act, Industrial Regulations, and environmental compliance requirementsCertified JHSC Member, CRSP, CHSC, or related certification considered an assetCertified First Aider is an assetStrong analytical, problem‐solving, and decision‐making skillsExcellent communication, presentation, and training abilitiesProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Ability to influence, engage,
